This Saturday, Leroy Sane, reveals he is “Incredibly happy to let you know about the birth of my daughter last night.”
He also thanked Low for allowing him to be at the birth.
“My grandaughter was born yesterday (Friday), we’re very happy, her name is Rio Stella,” Souleyman Sane told Bild.
He announced this news on twitter and gave “special thanks” to the Germany set-up for allowing him to leave the camp.
At the Thursday’s Uefa Nations League with France, Sane, who made a brief substitute appearance, was left out of Germany’s squad for the World Cup in Russia.
Germany tweeted on Friday that after discussions with Low, “Leroy Sane has left the team hotel in Munich for private reasons”.
Sane, who cost £37m plus add-ons when he joined City from Schalke in August 2016, has yet to start a Premier League game for the champions this season.
He was left out of the 18-man squad for their most recent match, a 2-1 Premier League win over Newcastle on 1 September, although manager Pep Guardiola afterwards rejected reports that he was unhappy with the player’s attitude.
But he will miss the friendly against Peru on Sunday with permission from the coach.
